Chocolate Fondue Recipe

This simple and easy stovetop fondue recipe will be ready in a flash. Serve to your family with your favorite dippers!

Equipment

  • 5 Quart Sauce Pan
  • measuring spoons
  • measuring cups
  • whisk

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups milk chocolate chips
  • ¼ cup whole milk
  • ¼ cup heavy cream
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 pinch sea salt

Instructions
 

  • Add milk, heavy cream and chocolate chips in a medium saucepan on the stovetop. Whisk thoroughly to combine.
  • Warm over low heat until it just begins to boil. Reduce heat prior to boiling.
  • Remove from heat, stir in vanilla and a pinch of sea salt.
  • Let cool slightly before serving, Stir occassionally so mixture doesn't thicken.

Notes

Notes:
Half and half is an acceptable substitute for heavy cream.
Any chocolate variety works well – milk, semisweet, dark, or even white chocolate!
Ideas for dipping:
Fresh fruit: Strawberries, bananas, pineapple, raspberries, blackberries and apples.
Salty dippers: pretzels and potato chips.
Treats: rice krispy treats, graham crackers, angel food cake, pound cake and cheesecake.
Candy: marshmallows, gummy bears, cinnamon bears
