- 2 cups milk chocolate chips
- ¼ cup whole milk
- ¼ cup heavy cream
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 pinch sea salt
Add milk, heavy cream and chocolate chips in a medium saucepan on the stovetop. Whisk thoroughly to combine.
Warm over low heat until it just begins to boil. Reduce heat prior to boiling.
Remove from heat, stir in vanilla and a pinch of sea salt.
Let cool slightly before serving, Stir occassionally so mixture doesn't thicken.
Notes:
Half and half is an acceptable substitute for heavy cream.
Any chocolate variety works well - milk, semisweet, dark, or even white chocolate!
Ideas for dipping:
Fresh fruit: Strawberries, bananas, pineapple, raspberries, blackberries and apples.
Salty dippers: pretzels and potato chips.
Treats: rice krispy treats, graham crackers, angel food cake, pound cake and cheesecake.
