The BEST Homemade Alfredo Sauce
You will never use jarred alfredo sauce after you make this alfredo from scratch. There is a good change you have these ingredients on hand and the sauce is amazing!
Equipment
- measuring spoons
- measuring cups
- frying pan
- spatula
Ingredients
- 1 stick salted butter
- 2 cups heavy cream
- ½ cup cream cheese
- ½ cup milk
- ½ cup parmesan cheese
- 2 tsp garlic powder
- salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Melt one stick of butter over medium heat in a frying pan.
- Once the butter is melted, add in the heavy cream until well combined.
- Add in cream cheese and stir until fully combined, about 5 minutes.
- Add in garlic powder and salt and pepper. Continue to cook sauce until thickened. Add milk and cook a few minutes.
- As soon as the sauce looks done, add in the parmesan cheese and cook until fully melted into sauce.
- Serve over your noodles of choice and enjoy!

Notes:
Depending on your preference of thickness, more or less milk can be added.
Parmesan cheese can be omitted, but don’t omit another cheese in it’s place.Â
