You will never use jarred alfredo sauce after you make this alfredo from scratch. There is a good change you have these ingredients on hand and the sauce is amazing!
Melt one stick of butter over medium heat in a frying pan.
Once the butter is melted, add in the heavy cream until well combined.
Add in cream cheese and stir until fully combined, about 5 minutes.
Add in garlic powder and salt and pepper. Continue to cook sauce until thickened. Add milk and cook a few minutes.
As soon as the sauce looks done, add in the parmesan cheese and cook until fully melted into sauce.
Serve over your noodles of choice and enjoy!

Notes:Depending on your preference of thickness, more or less milk can be added.Parmesan cheese can be omitted, but don't omit another cheese in it's place.
