Sunday Dinner Pot Roast
This one pot meal is a simple and easy way to prepare a delicious and homey meal for your family.
Equipment
- Slow Cooker
- measuring cups
- cutting board
- large knife
Ingredients
- 4-5 lb beef roast
- 1 can mushroom soup
- 1 packet dry gravy mix
- 1 packet dry italian mix
- 1 stick butter
- 4 cups water
- 1 sliced onion
- 2 cups baby carrots
- 6 potatoes
Instructions
- Place the beef roast in the bottom of the slow cooker.
- Add carrots and onions around roast.
- Add mushroom soup, dry mixes and water.
- Add stick of butter on top of the roast.
- Place potatoes on top of and around roast.
- Cook on HIGH for 4-5 hours or LOW for 6-8 hours.

Notes:
A pork roast can be submitted for the beef roast with no further modifications.
Once done, you can mash the potatoes with butter, milk, garlic and salt and pepper or leave them whole.
Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
