Homemade Strawberry Ice Cream Recipe
This homemade strawberry ice cream recipe is light and delicious. It is easy to make and is a refreshing treat on a hot summer day!

- ice cream maker
- measuring spoons
- 2-cup glass measuring cup
- whisk
- ice cream storage container
Ingredients
- 2 cups whole milk
- 1 cup heavy cream
- ½ cup sugar
- ¼ tsp sea salt
- 2 tsp pure vanilla extract
- 2 cups strawberries 2 cups
Instructions
- Wash and trim strawberries. Pulse them in a high-powered blender for one minute, set aside.
- Mix milk, heavy cream, vanilla, sugar, salt and pureed strawberries
- Slowly add mixture to ice-cream maker. Churn for 45 minutes or until it is the consistency you want.
- Serve and enjoy!
- Transfer leftovers to an airtight container and store in freezer.

Notes:
You can make vanilla ice cream with this recipe, just omit the strawberries.
White sugar or organic cane sugar work best for this recipe.Â
Fresh strawberries are best. If using frozen berries, thaw them in a colander to strain off excess water.
