From Scratch Best Maple Syrup
You just make some delicious pancakes for breakfast and everyone is ready to eat…then you realize you ran out of syrup! Do no freight! Here is an easy, kid friendly and delicious recipe to save the day. Not only is it quick to make but you may want to just skip the grocery store permanently for this great syrup.
Equipment
- 1 small pan
Ingredients
- 2 cups White Sugar
- 1 cup Boiling Water
- 1/2 tsp Maple Extract
Instructions
- Combine water and sugar into a small pan and simmer until the sugar is dissolved
- Stir in the maple extract
- Let the pan rest for 5 min
- Add the pan back to low heat and stir until it thickens
