One Pot Kid Friendly Spaghetti

This recipe takes a classic simple dish and makes it even easier to make. It also will use less pots and get dinner on the table quicker!

  • frying pan

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 package spaghetti
  • 1 can crushed tomatoes
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp chicken bouilon powder
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 can sliced olives optional
  • parmesan cheese optional

Instructions
 

  • Brown ground beef in frying pan. Once down, drain grease and set beef aside.
  • Place contents of spaghetti package in the center of the frying pan.
  • Add can of crushed tomatoes and enough water to cover spaghetti by one inch.
  • Add garlic powder, chicken bouillon, and salt and pepper.
  • Bring to boil, lower heat and simmer. Stir with tongs every few minutes.
  • Cook 10-15 minutes or until pasta is al dente.
  • Add in ground beef and optional olives and parmesan. Stir with tongs and serve immediately.

Notes

Notes:
Any ground meat can be substituted for the ground beef.
For a healthier option, use whole wheat spaghetti noodles. You may need to add a few extra minutes to cooking.
Any noodles can be used instead of the spaghetti noodles.
