One Pot Kid Friendly Spaghetti
This recipe takes a classic simple dish and makes it even easier to make. It also will use less pots and get dinner on the table quicker!
Equipment
- frying pan
- measuring spoons
- tongs
- spatula
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 package spaghetti
- 1 can crushed tomatoes
- 2 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp chicken bouilon powder
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 can sliced olives optional
- parmesan cheese optional
Instructions
- Brown ground beef in frying pan. Once down, drain grease and set beef aside.
- Place contents of spaghetti package in the center of the frying pan.
- Add can of crushed tomatoes and enough water to cover spaghetti by one inch.
- Add garlic powder, chicken bouillon, and salt and pepper.
- Bring to boil, lower heat and simmer. Stir with tongs every few minutes.
- Cook 10-15 minutes or until pasta is al dente.
- Add in ground beef and optional olives and parmesan. Stir with tongs and serve immediately.

Notes:
Any ground meat can be substituted for the ground beef.
For a healthier option, use whole wheat spaghetti noodles. You may need to add a few extra minutes to cooking.
Any noodles can be used instead of the spaghetti noodles.
